Earn CEUs when you become a certified babywearing educator through our Foundations course.
Earn 30 continued contact hours for your DONA, Lamaze, or CAPPA certification
Earn continuing education credits when you become a certified babywearing educator through our Foundations in Babywearing Education course. Not only will you be ready to help your clients with their babywearing questions (or to wear their babies), but you'll be able to meet your professional CEU requirements as well!
CEUs for doulas, postpartum doulas, childbirth educators, and other health professionals
The Foundations course has been specifically approved for DONA, Lamaze, and CAPPA continued education requirements. There are other organizations, such as ICEA, who have a reciprocal partnership with these organizations. Check with your certifying board to learn if this course meets the CEU requirement for recertification.
To be eligible for continuing education hours, you must attend all classes, view webinars, and successfully complete required homework and exams.
CBWS charges a $20 administrative fee to cover necessary recordkeeping and other requirements for each organization.
Other CBWS classes
CBWS courses are high-value classes that apply to many disciplines, not just to professional babywearing educators. The value of our classes are greater than CEU credits, but as busy professionals ourselves, we understand that multitasking is a great way to maximize your time!
At this time, only the Foundations course has been formally evaluated for CE approval. However, many certifying boards encourage people to submit professional courses for CEU consideration so that professionals can benefit from a variety of education.
